Woofstock

We are off to Woofstock again this year. Come and see us at our booth Saturday, October 6,2012 from 9:30am to 3:00pm. At Sedgwick County Park. We will still be open regular hours at the facility.

About Woofstock

"Begun in 1997, Woofstock is an annual fundraiser benefiting the Kansas Humane Society. All proceeds raised at the Kansas Humane Society's Woofstock go directly to support KHS and the services we provide to thousands of Wichita's homeless pets.

Woofstock has a ton of ways to have a dog-gone good time. Throughout the day, dogs and their owners can participate in activities catered exclusively to them including digging, retrieving, herding, swimming and more.

Both children and dogs are invited to hang out in the Paws and Play area with activities catered for the average dog, like the Pawtrait Painting, Ball Bobbing Pond, Dig Site or Frisbee Chase and fun stuff for kids including a balloon bounce, a kids agility course.

Adults can bid on over $40,000 in items at the Silent Auction, shop at over 80 pet-friendly vendors, and more. "

Open House

We invite all people and puppies to come check out our facility and met Bessie and everyone else at our Open House. We will be having our annual Open House Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be treats you and your puppy. The Halloween Party

It's Bessie's Puppy Love, Inc. annual Halloween Party Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. There will be a costume contests for the puppies with prizes for the top three costumes. We will have musical chairs, dunking for weenies, and races with prizes for the winners. We also have special cookies and treats for the puppies. There will be snacks and cake with coffee, tea, and apple cider for our human friends. Everyone will get a Halloween Sack for their puppies. Come and bring your puppies and have a hoooowling good time.Please have you puppies on leashes and remember that you are responsible for your puppies and kids while you are there. Thank You. The Christmas Party  

 This years Chili Feed will be Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Bring your appetite and your puppies. There Will be Chili, Claim Chowder,Chicken Soup and various other delights for our human friends. And cookies for the puppies. Come and watch your puppies play with each other while you chat and eat with our friends. There will be gifts for both puppies and parents. You can see the pictures on our facebook page.

Holiday Daycare

For the up coming holidays Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas we will be open regular hours. We will be taking dogs for daycare during these hours. So if you do not want to board but don't want your dog in the middle of everything on the holidays bring it in to daycare and pick it up when the festivities are done. No need for appointments for holiday daycare. We will be open 5am to 7pm for Christmas eve Monday, December 24, and Christmas Day Tuesday, December 25, 2012.

 Extended Weekend Daycare

Leave your dogs with us while you do your holiday shopping. Starting November 1, 2012 we will have extended hours on the weekend . We will be open Saturdays 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sundays 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Our extended hours will end December 26, 2012.
